Accolade Hardball 6 Woes

Having trouble loading Hardball 6 running with Windows XP.
The program ran fine under Windows 98 & 95.
Hardball loads up okay, but when you try to play the game, it will not play. I get the following application error:

The instruction at 004131b3 referenced memory at 0000028a
the memory could not be read from.

Im currently running:
MS XP Home Edition
Dell Dimension 4600 @ 2.66 GHz
Memory 256MB DDR @ 333MHZ
Geoforce4 MX 64MB Graphics Card
Soundblaster Live 5.1 Soundcard

Appreciate any assistance out there.... Thanks

Try running the game in compatibility mode.
