Slow Battlefield 1942

Hey,

When I play BF1942, the game goes slowly, skipping frame by frame, although on a friend's comp which is a 2.40Ghz with a 64MB GeForce4 as to mine, same processor speed but a GeForce FX 5200 with 128MB Vram it runs smoothly with no problems. The only other difference, is he has 712MB ram, whereas I only have 2512MBs.

There is a site called TweekTown. There is alot of info on tweeking XP for gaming. one article is called reformat to relax, & the next is Relax to Righteous.

Have you tried updating you're video card drivers? sometimes that can really help you're gameplay smoothness. If it is an FX5200 you should be able to find the drivers at www.nvidia.com
