Unhappy HALO for PC?

Did anyone hear anything about Halo becoming available for PC? I have played it on xBox but compared to PC controls, it's just too hard to control - I would love a mouse-type interface for the xBox lol -- maybe there is one & I don't know about it...

Anyway, I have heard rumors about it becoming available - any news?

Thx, Brogg

I agree with you there, controls on a xBox is hard. If it were to be released on a PC then you would need a really fast processor and graphics card with loads of memory. On the control side though I think that they would use a Half-Life type of control system (mouse and keyboard).

Yes - a Quake/Half-life/UT etc style of control would be preferred. After I posted this, seems Halo for PC will be released mid 2003! YAY!!

Yeah, you are right, check out Games Domain for the XBox Halo review. Then try and put those graphics into a PC Graphics Card!

Red face Dont be DAFT!!!!

the X-box is basically the spec of a PC from 3 years ago ! that was proved in PC-gamer US after they took it apart!!!

a PC of:

900 Mhz or FASTER
256 MB ram or FASTER
64 MB Graphics Card or FASTER

would run that game fine look at unreal 2k3 that game is better graphics and that runs fine on a PC

and as computers of
3.0 Ghz are now out you can now have up to 1536 Mb on a very good motherboard also the 128 mb graphics cards dominate and soon the NV30 will be the power of a 256 so guys dont go on about o no the PC wont run it the question is do you have a good enough PC to run it????

Iknow about 70% of PC users will do

Yeah, the only difference is that updating an XBox is harder.

Updating the X-box will be almost impossible as it sucks really i mena for a games console its good but CAN you really call it a games console as it has a harddrive it uses windows ETC i allit a small gaming computer not a game console.

PC's will always own the market for games as they are just so much faster than a games console and they are being updated all the time making them simply the better thing to have these days
