you need a program called final alert 2 its a map create made by the true troopers Westwood shame EA suckers closed them down EA suck but westwood owned

Yes final alert 2 is the ebst map creator for skirmish and online play u can make any map from tiny to massive its easy to use and also u can add any think to the map any type of object its kind of cool.....!

Well geez this really is going back many years, all i remember doing was installing it and then making the maps putting them in the ra2 folder and then they appeared in the maps section in game.

Try maybe installing the patch that works with whatever version of final alert i offered links for, but I really cant say much more as i havent played ra2 or used final alert for a long time...

hi,i have the final alert 2 i downloaded it a few days ago and iv made 2 maps already.But when i played online i got this map from another person and it had special units likechrono comandos and stuff like that...how do i make special maps like that?

i could do that, go to options->mark the advanced mode, then go to edit and u can see the INI editing and other stuff for creating a mission, the INI editing makes special units like chrono commandos and stuff, search for rules.ini or rulesmd.ini (for yuri's revenge) and download to learn how to make those stuff, edit that file so u can use it on all maps but the INI editing for the map ur creating only .. good luck

Yo everybody i have the map editor to and know someting about etc.
but i know you can't take over superwerapons you can place in your map, BUt thats not true you can take them over bij editing a file for superweapons that you must place in the FA2\script folder and than you must insert codes in that file.
i have the codes but not have the superweapons FILE that you must place in the FA2\script folder.
does some has that file for me plz!!!!! if you do plz post that here and i wil contact you true msn ore mail ore something.

Hi all. I have started making maps and im working on one and having some trouble with it. it has a river crossing each corner (x) and is urban with roads and will have buildings. i have a sort of diamond shape where the ore will be south east, south west, north east and north west. i have the area s/e and s/w but i cant recreate the same sized area on the north side. if you want to have a look at it i can give it to you over msn. any help will be greatfully recieved.

Also i have the final alert 2 software but i cant remember where i got it from, but if you want it i can give it to you over msn

When I save my maps and put them in the RA2 directory they don't show up on the map list

The maps are saved as .mpr's and when I change the .mpr at the end of the name to .yro the .yro dissapears and the icon becomes a little final alert 2 icon but final alert won't open them
