That graphicscard (FX5200) is really not steered towards HighEnd gaming, it should be able to run the newest games resonable framerates at low to mid resolution, but its not impressive!

If you are builing the PC yourself I would recommend losing one of the HDs and use that money for a midrange graphicscard e.g. Nvidia 5900XT or even better a Radeon 9800Pro (i personnaly recommend HIS Excalibur IceQ )

I agree. Looking at the doom 3 benchmarks you will need a better card for the new generation of games.

Radeon 9800 Pro have become "afordable" so I got one last week and been very impressed.

What i use to play games like FarCry etc etc

My spec:-
Xp pro edition (SP2) SP2 IS VERY ANNOYING!!!!
1GB PC3200 RAM
80GB harddrive
GeForce Nvidia 5600 tornado
Amd Athlon 2400 so its bout a 2GHz
DVD Rom - for FarCry

thats what i use to play doom3 and far cry and it runs really nice, i do wanna get a 9800pro though so if i was you i would scrap the 5200 geforce and spend a bit more to get a 9800 you will save in the long run.
