HiFi headphones

I want to buy a wireless headphones to use it on my computer but they are all including a note "produced for HiFi". First I want to ask "What is HiFi?". And if I buy a HiFi headphones can I get the full performance from it with my computer or cd player?

Don't worry about the HiFi mark, it's just marketing glam. HiFi used to stand for High Fidelity... now they just use it to make their product sound more important. As long as the transmitter will plug into your output jack, and you like the sound, you should be good to go.
