Hi,
I just opened my power supply fan for cleaning, because it wa jamm due to dust.,
after cleaning I dont know how to fix it back,
I mean will it blow clock wise or anti clock wise?

Now I am using with an open power supply unit with a fan in open air.

Look on the fan shroud and it should have 2 arrows.

← ↑

They show the direction of rotation and direction of flow.

All you need to do now is determine whether the fan draws air into or out of the PSU

if it (fan) faces the outside of the case it should blow out. if it is inside the case it should blow in.

Very good information !!!!!!!!!!!
But the quesion was " how the power supply should be installed, should it blow in or other wise". while I have one more fan on the main board.
I think this time I shall get the answer.
best regards

You have a fifty v fifty chance of getting it right. Check other PCs and see which way the airflow on the PSU is.

On my system the fan draws air from the outside and blows it onto the PSU.
