Game Port

Hi everyone, I have a mobo with a built on-board sound with no game port. I need to hook up a game controller. What would be the easiest way?

Another sound card is the cheapest option. Either use all it has to offer and disable the onboard sound, or disable the sound card driver but leave its game port intact.

Alternatively, a USB to gameport adapter:

Are you sure the mainboard doesn't have a header for a game port? Is a port listed in device manager?
