Advice on upgrading my Graphics Card

I am writing to ask the members here about upgrading to another graphics card. My MB is a ASUS P4P800, and my current graphics card is a ASUS V9520 Magic GeForce FX5200. The user guide I got with the MB suggests I only install a 1.5V AGP card. I've been pretty satisfied with the FX5200, but recently I tried playing Sims2 and it lagged in certain spots quite a bit. I also do a lot of graphic design work, and I'm wondering if upgrading the card would help in that area, as well.

I am not a expert in any of this, so I'm posting here to get some ideas from those who know their stuff.

Thank you.

hi. well first of all you got to see the RAM of your graphic card. so be sure that there is enough of memory(128 or 256) thats the greatest part. by the way you didnot specified the memory size of your graphic card.also try to find the latest driver and directx 9.0c before going for another card

Currently I have a NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 (128 MB) in the AGP slot. I also have a RADEON 7000 (64 MB) which I have in a PCI slot and am using for dual monitors. I've got my eye on this eVGA GeForce 6600 GT (128MB DDR3) card at TigerDirect:
