SATA Hard Drives

2 Questions:

1) I want to buy a SATA HD, and I will most likely buy it OEM. It is SATA II (3.0Gb/sec). I need to buy an SATA cable, yet all of the cables I can find online say they are for SATA 150 hard drives. Where can I get cables that will transfer at my 3.0 Gb/sec rate?

2) There is a $20 difference between an 8 MB Cache and 16 MB Cache. Is the 16 MB worth the extra $20? Is it that big of a difference?

I'm mostly going to have movies and MP3s on this drive, it won't be my boot drive. Do I even need to worry about the cache size?

1) From what i've read and heard of SATA cables, the two types are the same...eg your SATA1 cable will work just fine running at SATA2 speeds. Im sure it would help to get a high quality SATA cable just to be safe.

2) In my opinion, it probably isnt worth the extra $20 for the 16MB Cache seeing as what your using the drive for..but as i said thats just my opinion...
