Hmmm.... wonder if that's how I burned up my P4 machine 2 weeks ago?
It was a 3.2 GHz prescott core P4, processor was watercooled with a Danger Den TDX waterblock, a D5 pump, and a big heatercore radiator. I tried to do a vDroop mod and a vDimm mod to my beloved motherboard (Asus P4P800SE), and it seemed to work well for a few days. But, I guess the CPU voltage regulators on the motherboard couldn't handle the continuous load I put on them, and the motherboard is now a wall decoration. It made a run all the weay up to 4.5 GHz before it gave out on me... and seemed to be running perfectly fine.
My CPU seems to have survived the incident, but I think my RAM (OCZ PC4000 Gold rev.2) may have taken on some damage, as I grabbed a DFI Lanparty UT NF4 Ultra D motherboard, and a Athlon 64 3200+ (venice core), and have been trying to run the RAM on the new rig. I am really having a hard time getting it to run 100% stable.

So, I have a gig of OCZ PC4800 (ddr600) platinum series on it's way to my house as we speak. This rig is gonna rock.
Anyway, before anyone asks "what are you trying to ask?", I ain't asking anything. Just felt like sharing is all... and this very old thread seemed as good a place as any.
