New computer!!! yay!!! Got a quick question!

okay, i just picked up a 2.93 GHz Celeron D computer from my pops for FREE!!! lol Only 1 problem... it only has 256 MB Ram. On my old computer, i had 384 MB Ram, it used PC133. Is it possible to use the PC133 in the new computer? Sorry if it's an obvious DUH question(like NO)... but i'm a n00b. Thanks in advance!

Personally I don't think you could....PC133 would be too slow for Celeron D 2.9, I assume PC533 or 800 is more like it....since RAM is not too expensive I would suggest to take that 256 out and throw two stick of 512 in there...Windows XP would run much smoother with 1 Gig.

Cheers
