Looking to build a computer.

Hello all. I'm looking to build a computer. Nothing to fancy and not for gaming. I'm pretty dumb when it comes to computers so I'll just take recommendations. Right now I'm just looking for a case, motherboard, processor (prefferably 2.0 ghz or higher) and RAM (prefferably 512 mb). I'm wanting to buy the parts from www.newegg.com. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Budget is around 2-3 hundred dollars. I know that isn't alot but I am a little flexible.

suprise that your budget is only 2-3 hundred especially for someone who owns a xps gen 4.

case you can get any random one for $50-60s.
processor: get a cheap amd cheap is fine. up to you if oyu want a 64 chip. get a cheap 64 chip like the 3200+
ram: very corsairs valueselect pack
mobo: you need to pick a cpu chip first.
