Laptops, anyone?

Now I'm researching laptops right now because I want to buy one. Makes sense right? Anyway, my last 2 laptops were Toshiba Satellites, which IMO are very good as far as laptops go, but there are so many out there I don't know what to choose

. My price range is sub-$1000. Any Suggestions? Much appreciated!
