Yes and no. It depends on whether you can get the heatsink off without doing any damage. I read that it may be on with an epoxy.

As for a fan, a quick search at your favorite PC store should have a few differnet fans to choose form.

Glued on HS & Fan

I put a G4-VGA Copper Cooler on my Ti4200. The fan was glued on. I could see light under one side of the HS. After several days of being scared I used a dull butter knife & poped (loud pop by the way) it off. I used alcohol to clean the glue off. The install was easy. (no directions on the package) I over clocked the VGA to 305 & 501. I installed a after market temp sensor to the back of the card processor & under a load get temps from 120 to 125 F.

The fan I am talking about says on it. For Gforce Ti 4200,4400,& 4600. Since the FX is new its not listed on it. I got the HS & Fan at CompUSA. I I get to CompUSA I will ask there techs or you can at your local store.

Yeah, I haven't seen any fans or such for that model yet.

Is there any holes in the video card around the heatsink?
