ddr ram is 184 pin ddr2 is 240 pin ddr2 is twice as fast as ddr
to see what you have in your system download free CPUZ. open the exe and on memory tab it should say if you have ddr or ddr2 also if its dual or single channel and will give you the timing of your ram..also the motherboard tab will give you the bus speeds ie sb400 etc..also download EVEREST v2.20.405 that will tell you what ram model you have ddr or ddr2 and what make pc 2700 pc 3200 etc.
