Smile laptops

i want to spend around $250-$300 on a laptop but i want one with windows xp and one that isnt going to break on me soon after i buy it

dell, good workhorse solid, and driver freindly. i had one for years, a p4 1 gig i had it for 6 years and never let me down. i have the 9400 now they stopped making them last year, and its never had a problem. but for 9400 your looking at 600 mark maybe more if you can get. for what you want to spend 300 usa dollars thats about 150 pounds here, your not going to get much power 1 gig tops with about 128/256 ram if your very lucky, i have seen p3 500 mhz go for £120. check out ebay.
