Memory upgrade

Hello, I'm afraid I am to computing what Conan was to Airfix kit building. Can someone please let me know what is the largest Memory card I can fit in a Packard Bell Easynote F5281? Its got 256mb but I want to upgrade it and speed things up. The Parkard Bell web site says 512 MB PC2700/DDR333 Dimm costing 39.00, but is this as big as it gets? Any help is mch appreciated.

your notebook is about 18 months old. i would say its got 2 slots and you could put 2x 512 mb modules in no problem. i dont think it could take 2x 1024 mb . get cpuz it will give you how many slots you have in your laptop. i would say you have 2 though, and 1 gig ram would be enough.

the max you can put into your laptop is 1 gig 2x 512 i have checked. i would say you have 2x128mb in there. your best bet is to go to crucial memory website , they have a advisor that can check your laptop and tell you what ram you need.
