Hi, First time user not to familar with routine so here gos. I bought a pioneer DVD burner SATA and Im trying to install into a Dell 4600 Deminsion with a DATA ribbon style drive connection, would anyone know what or how i can make this work, also it looks like i need to set JUMPERS on back of unit but it doesn't show any discriptions of pins. Thanx and sorry about spelling.
Data ribbon? You mean IDE? You can obtain an IDE to SATA converter in at least two forms. One simply goes in line with the cable, the other is a PCI card.
