Question Lightscribe causes harware interrupts

Pentium 4 3gHz
2*512mb ddr400
lg dual layer dvd
lg lightscribe dvd
XP service pack 2
sysintervals process explorer

System minus lightscribe worked fine ,burned 4gig dvd in 6 min.Installed brand new lightscribe and then the fun started.Whenever i use lightscribe system comes to snails pace writing a 700mb cd takes 50 minutes.Process explorer reveals that hardware interrupts take up to 87% of processor power.Have double checked jumper settings.Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

What is the lightscribe soft? It's that, or a clash with something else causing the problem.

Have you tried a different lightscribe software though?
Check here for some clues.
