How do I add 3 optical drives-DVD-r/ DVD-ROM/CD-RW ?

I'm going to build a new computer. This is my first time trying this. I wish to install a Sony DVD-R/+R, a DVD-ROM, and a CD-RW drive along with a Western Digital 200GB drive. I know I can put 2 optical drives on one ATP ribbin. Can I put a 3rd on the same ribbin as the hard drive? I herd this isn't recomened. If not how do I do this?
Thanks

If you want to add several drives I would go the SCSI route.

yes you can do what you ask although it is not recomended because it will give you pooreer performance of your HDD but yes it will be fine to do and you should not notice much of drop in performance.

although Loosechippings is correct that si the way to go

Why all three. I just installed a 52x CDRW and a DVD-R-RW and that's really all you need. You just want to be careful that you don't have anything writing to your disk while you are copying and or burning and if you have a cable modem for the web disconnect before you burn a DVD or you can get a Scsi error notice and an incomplete writing session. This is a rather expensive lesson to learn. I learned and am now able to pass it on. If you can get a rewritable disk to try first that would be the way to go. I could not find one and used 5 DVD-Rs before I figured out what was wrong.

You do not require three different drives in my view. About every DVD -/+ writer will also function as a CD-RW. Also if you can find DVD/CD writers that will that will write to the three prevailing formats [DVD-RW, DVD+RW, and DVD-RAM] [I think Toshiba makes a version that will], why not go with it for one of the drives unless the cost outweighs the benefits. If you insist on three, make one external via USB 2.0/Firewire.
