Geforce 9800 or 8800

I am going to build a budget gaming rig for World of Warcraft. I have been looking at a geforce 9800 GT, but the support site does not list the 9800 as compatible or incompatible. It does however list the 8800 as compatible. So would a 9800 work if an 8800 does? And would I see a performance increase since both cards have the same stock frequency, memory, and processors.

Hi, to get the best out of a 9800 you will need a processor like an Intel 8400 and a good M/B. It just depends what you want and $$$$$.
I have a 8800gt 1 gig MSI with a Intel 8500 dual core, 4 gig of 800 ram, gigabyte M/B which will run Crysis an very nice fps.
So an 8800gt is still a good choice. Stay away from 9600 as they are a waste of time compared with the 8800.
