Buying new High-End Gaming PC

Hello there!

I'm currently in the process of saving up for a new computer. I don't want it to be like the other computers I've bought in the past, e.g. slow/unstable/weak, so I decided to throw in a lot of money this time (prepared to spend some 5k $). Anyways, after looking at many websites like AlienWare, Dell, and a lot of Danish computer company websites (I'm Danish), I think I found two worthy competitors that I hope you can help me decide between. They're both cutom-built.

"Føniks' Ultimo+"

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 (2,6 GHz, 12 MB)
RAM: Corsair 8 GB DDR2 PC8500 (1066 MHz)
GPU: SLI - 3x 896MB GeForce GTX 260 DDR3 PCI-E
Storage: RAID - 1 TB SATA 2
Motherboard: ASUS P5N-T Deluxe 780i SLI S-775

"MM Vision-X"

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 (3,0 GHz, 12 MB)
RAM: Corsair 8 GB XMS3 DHX DDR3 RAM DualChannel (1333MHz)
GPU: NVidia GeForce GTX 280 DDR3 PCI-E
Storage: 2x Samsung 1000GB S-ATAII (3Gb/s, 32 MB)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-P45T-DS3

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

what kind of power supply will be installed, you'll need a good one, modular if possible, and will you need the SLI plugs for Graphic card

just a suggestion, go and have a look at the Asus forum, to see if any problems with the board, http://vip.asus.com/forum/default.aspx?SLanguage=en-us

There will be a 1000 Watts power supply in each of them. Different models, but pretty much the same. Do you know if there is any difference between the MOBO'S? And would you prefer the extra GPU's to lower CPU Hz and lower RAM?
