Laptop Specs

Recently got a HP Pavilion dv6700z.

When I got the laptop, I looked to see if it was the same as what I asked for.

The hard drive was listed a 100 gig, and I asked for 120 gig.
the wireless LAN was listed as 802.11 a/b/g/draft-n, and I choose 802.11 a/b/g/n

I did some google searches on the LAN, and found a message board that said the draft-n was before the n became standard.

I called HP and told them these two things. They said, that the hard drive is the correct size becasue of the way that computers display the hard drive size. That they go by 1024, and not 1000.

As for the LAN, he said that the draft-n is the same as the n.

Any thoughts on all of this?

Thanks.
NYF.

It probably should show between 110 and 112 GB because of the
1024 idea but, you also may have a hidden restore taking up part
of the drive. you can multiply drive size times 0.931 to get the GB
size.
