which motherboard?

i have a pentium 4 2.8Ghz HT processor,my requirement is not extreme.
i require a durable motherboard with a PCI express slot(for future) and a decent on board video card to run Windows XP,Warcraft III,AOE II
price is an issue.

Dont go for GIGABYTE or Asus (since GIGABYTE bought them)

Just wondering why you would say don't go for Gigabyte? Very reliable M/B and speed is okay.

I assembled a LOT of PCs with GIGABYTE MBs and graphic cards, and thei overall quality is pretty low. They heat too much, many return back to the lab with malfunctions with blown capacitors and stuff like that, low-quality CMOS configuration utility, all of that plus rough soldering.

Well there you go. You have had lots of problems and I have also been building PCs for years and have never had any trouble.

i thought asus was the best value for money m/b ....i have one..and i feel it heats up way too early
