need help want to upgrade my pc some

hello all
iam wanting to upgrade my computers processor and memory but not sure witch ones i can use heres my specs i got from belarc for processor and the memory scan was from crucial scan heres the specs below and heres the site i found for my motherboard processors http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/M...ProductID=1300 but i dont know what one i can use i was told by the person i bought the tower from that it can be upgraded to a 2.9 or 3.0 but like i said i dont know witch one to use same with the memory iam planing on finding the parts on ebay as i think ill get them a bit cheaper there please help

Hi goat...look because you are a long time member, I won't pull any punches with you...you are wasting your time. Because the board will only support older technology and that the hardware would have to be bought on ebay or similar I would'nt do it.
A better idea is to upgrade the M/B as well so it will support daul core technlogy and faster ram.
You can still keep your tower as long as it is standard size. If you dont play games have a look at hti s M/B I bought it for my server with onboard video and Im very please with it. http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/M...ProductID=2693
It cost me about $65 Aus and for a home PC that is not need for gaming I would recommend it.
