Ethernet Controller shows yellow marks

Exclamation Ethernet Controller shows yellow marks

Hello i have installed new vista ultimate SP 2 on my hp pavilion dv900 AMD Turion tm 64 mobile technology TL 60 2.ghz laptop but after installation i am not able to use internet as on device manager there are few yellow marks sign on the flollowing devices

Base Device system
Coprocessor
Ethernet controoler
SM bus controller


can anyone please help me to sort this device out as i dont have any software for these driveces
this is the network shows in my laptop
NVIDIA MCP61 LAN Controller (PHY: Realtek RTL8201CL/CP)PCI vista

I have been to hp website driver download and i downloaded when i install on my laptop nothing changes the problem is still there please help

make sure you are connected to the internet by wireless,right click on yellow ? one at a time and choose updatde driver,it should update from there ,if not you will have to go to hps site to download drivers from there.

hi thanks for reply , i dont hve wireless router, ok if i buy that router,, as in my laptop.
Base Device system
Coprocessor
Ethernet controoler
SM bus controller
these are not working do you think my laptop will work with wireless internet ? and i have been to hp site and i have downloaded all the drivers and i have installed it on my laptop but stil i am with this problem, this is the big problem i have ever have,,, please try to sort this for me thank you

Did you not get a drivers CD with the laptop?

hello no there was no cd with the laptop thats the problem,, even i download the drivers from hp site but still does not work

I would check to see if the drivers on the HP website are Vista compatible. If not I would then think about downgrading to XP.

well i did install xp on it and i had the same problem,, with xp i had more prob like graphic and sound was not working,, so i put vista,, again,, do you my laptop will work wireless like i have bought router and than i want to get conection wireless so do the updates,,,

sorry,i meant to say i cant see why you cant go wireless provided your pc has a wireless card fitted,if not youll have to get one.

hi thnks for reply ok. i have now installed a fresh vista home prem on my laptop and still have those device problem in device manager

ok i have router and i tried wireless conection but in my laptop another problem the wireless is disabled,, now in help assistance says from bois stup enable wireless ,, but when i go to bois setup there is not any option of LAN disable or enable,, so now i dont what to do how to enable it and one morthing is that i dont have any local area connection in control panel network place can you please please please please help me,, its 2 weeks i am dealing with this problem please help

hi thanks for your reply i am sure that my hp povilion dv9000 laptop has wireless built in system,, as it has wireless button and icon on it ,, but the problem is its disabled i cant enable it ,, maybe coz my ethernet controller is not working ,,
