I am in the market for a new pc, looking to spend no more than 700 bucks total. Everyday use of my computer is Firefox with a looot of tabs open, Digsby, Songbird, ObjectDock, Drobbox, uTorrent, etc... I run Photoshop fairly often, Microsoft Office, VLC, occasionally Rosetta Stone and Sony ACID. And I mean all at once. Newest edition to the family will be Sims 3, which I expect to play a lot of this summer.
So for the most part I know what I want. A sweet processor (at
least dual core), and plenty of memory. A nice multi-DVD drive, media card reader, etc.
My problem is, do I need a really good graphics card for Sims 3? It's really probably the only game I'll ever play... but I'd like to play on at least medium level graphics, if not better.
This pc looks pretty nice, in my price range, with a little wiggle room. Would it handle Sims 3 graphics? If not, would I be able to upgrade my graphics card easily/in my price range? What about the PSU in this case? Perhaps
this one? One more?
Would appreciate any input. Thanks!
