Buying a new PC, advice?

I am in the market for a new pc, looking to spend no more than 700 bucks total. Everyday use of my computer is Firefox with a looot of tabs open, Digsby, Songbird, ObjectDock, Drobbox, uTorrent, etc... I run Photoshop fairly often, Microsoft Office, VLC, occasionally Rosetta Stone and Sony ACID. And I mean all at once. Newest edition to the family will be Sims 3, which I expect to play a lot of this summer.

So for the most part I know what I want. A sweet processor (at least dual core), and plenty of memory. A nice multi-DVD drive, media card reader, etc.

My problem is, do I need a really good graphics card for Sims 3? It's really probably the only game I'll ever play... but I'd like to play on at least medium level graphics, if not better.

This pc looks pretty nice, in my price range, with a little wiggle room. Would it handle Sims 3 graphics? If not, would I be able to upgrade my graphics card easily/in my price range? What about the PSU in this case? Perhaps this one? One more?

Would appreciate any input. Thanks!

Hi, there are two issues with what you have picked. 1) 300watt P/S just not up to it. 2) no graphics card.
If you want to get a new PC you would like to last a while, this will need money spent on it to upgarde the 2 components.
This is the one I would pick http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...sku=V133-71500
Why?
1) you can update the CPU to quad core if later you decide you need more grunt.
2) Aslo the graphics card can be updated.
3) Its brand new not refurbished.
Here is the link to the M/B http://au.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=...&mo delmenu=1
As you can see it can be upgrded with ease.
4 gigs of ram should be fine.
