Dell inspiron 1525 LCD Broken

My Dell inspiron LCD 1525 has broken. The power connector was sandwitched in between the screen and keyboard and I laid my foot on it.
The craCks have developed fro right corner with black background at the place of damage And now my screen is split in half with split line reinforced by black and green color. Further more bottom Half screen has changed color to white. There are intermittent lines on the upper half which come and go. Is my backlight and inverter OKAy. If not, how can i check them?

Your back light is usually your screen, but with the inverter, you can check this with another screen, as long as your LCD Harness (cable) fits in to it.
