what video card to get?

I'm thinking of getting a new video card to replace my current one, but the problem is that i don't know which ones are good for gaming and if my computer specs will support them.

here are my specs:

btw, my motherboard is ASUS P5P800S (I think that's the mobo) and my current video card is sapphire raedon 9600XT

I don't have a credit card so i won't be able to buy anything online. Anyone can suggest some cards? Maybe I can find similar ones in retail stores.

If so any card that is higher that a 8 series card will not be using the video cards full potential. So I would not upgrade to a new card...it wont make any difference.
