Ram....what does 266mx64 mean

I recently won an auction on ebay for 2,STICKs PC6400 2GB DDR2 800Mhz RAM 240Pin .I recieved 2 sticks of ram with pc2 6400 ddr2 sdram 266mx64 2gb on the stickers.The sticker on the ram sent to me does not say 800MHZ and I don`t know what 266mx64 means so I don`t know If they sent the ram they advertized. Anyway it is supposed to be a total of 4 gbs of ram but only shows 3gbs on my computer when I install it.Now they want a restocking fee if I return it.I think I`m getting hosed bt for starters could someone tell me what the 266mx64 means. Thanks for any insight

Hi, I will try to explain:
PC2 6400 DDR2= memory type
266= supported frequencies
64 = data width
3 gig only seen in OS = 32 bit OS does not support 4 gig of memeory
Your memeory is fine and is what was stated when purchased

XP and Vista 32 bit do not recognise 4 gig of memory.
