Question Multi-monitor video cards...

any recommendations for a really good multi-monitor video card?

I've been looking at the Quadro4 580 XGL pretty closely, but I've also seen the Xentera GT 4

I reallly only need 2 monitor support, but as with the Xentera GT 4, if it can handle more for a decent price then I'm all for it (And definitely an AGP card).

currently I've got a 4x agp slot - hoping to upgrade to the 8x soon with a new mobo such as the Abit IC7-G Max 3 (recommended by a friend), but I'm still lookin' around

So if anybody knows of a good multi-monitor support card - please share the info I'd appreciate it

I use a Matrox Parhelia 128 MB running a pair of Hercules Prophet View 720s.

It can also output to another monitor or TV.

One niggly problem is that you must have Dot NET installed for it to work BUT it only works with version 1.0 of Dot NET.

UK prices ...

The 128 MB card is £ 274.00 inc Tax

The 256 MB card is £ 424.00 inc Tax

Matrox make a large range of 'multi head' cards.
