Cd-rw

I JUST INSTALLED A SONY CD-RW DRIVE.

I EXPECTED IT WOULD BE JUST LIKE ANOTHER DRIVE AND BE GREAT FOR BACKUP INSTEAD OF MY LS120.

IT READS REGULAR CDS, HOWEVER, HAVING TROUBLE TO GET IT TO WRITE.

IT SAYS;

DISABLE ALL ANTI VIRUS SOFTWARE/ALL RESIDENT/POPUP/ACTIVE ETC SOFTWARE.

AND ALSO DONT LET THE MONITOR SHUT WITH POWER MANAGEMENT.

THIS IS NOT VERY CONVIENENT.

DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A CD-RW THAT DOES NOT REQUIRE ALL THIS??

DICK
