connecting front firewire ports

hi - i am new to this forum and am not sure if i shoudl post this here or under hardware problems - sorry if i am in the wrong spot.

i just got This Case and the ASUS A7N8X DX.

the case has fron USB and firewire ports. i got the USB ports hooked up and workign but the firewire is a little different, the lead comign from the front firewire ports has 6 pins and the connectors on the motherboard have 8 pins.

the pins on the lead from the front 1394 ports are labeled as follows:

GND
VCC
TPA1+
TPA1-
TPB1+
TPB1-

and the manual for the mobo labels the pins for the connector on the mobo as follows:
Ground
Ground
TPA2+
TPA2-
TPB2+
TPB2-
Ground
+12V

now i am guessing the TPA1+/- and the TPB1+/- match up to the TPA2+/- and TPB2+/- and the GND goes to one of the 3 grounds (which one?) and i am guessign that the VCC goes to the +12V?

and if that is correct then waht about the other 2 grounds?

how do i get this hooked up?

you are correct on the a=b, use the ground next to the 12+ the other two grounds are if you buy the add-on asus bracket it has lights to show connection, and the front display panel, if you buy that over priced crap.

they dont speak english, i have emailed them a few times, and they reply, and it is funny to read the replies. for example, on this they might reply,"must buy asus hardware to make you computer work like should" and have a link to the i-pannel and firewire add-ons
