PC Upgrade help needed

hi guys (im new here :P)

just wanted to get some tips if it was possible for a new pc upgrade

1) CPU
i was thinking of getting a P4 3000C, instead of a AMD 3000 well basically because i hear pentium outpreform amd now... any ideas? or is it the right move?

2)M/B
i was looking at the ASUS p4c800 delux i875p motherboard but i was told the msi neo-2 FIS2R r really good just want to know which ones i should get for the above CPU.

3)RAM
well RAM is easy, 2 chips of 512mg 3200 kingswood ram unless someone can suggest anything else?

4)HDD
im set on getting a seagate 120 gig 8mg SATA hdd which i hear are really good

5)video card
i think the video card and cpu are hardest too choose
geforce 4 fx 5900 128mg ram or ati radeon 9800 pro 128 mg ram?
ive been reading many posts, ive also posted some and well radeon seems to be a better card to buy. hope im on the right track

so any help will be appreciated.
