Noob: hardware opinions/suggestions

I have an A-bit vp6 dual p3 board with 2 p3 1k chips. I am planning on using lite amounts of CAD and light gaming, internet streaming audio sessions, video playback.... and i want to make sure that i get an OS that will utilize the Dual ECU config that i have. I have heard win2k pro supports dueal processors...is that true? Also, the board supports AGP 4x, so what vid card should i consider? I need a nice card. around $300 tops. needs coax or component out. For audio i have an open PCI that I wanted to fill. need optical input, speaker out. what are your suggestions?

Ok dustin, my friend has a similar board but with 2 900's a good graohics card, Geforce 3 TI500, Outruns almost any FX series Cards your best bet on finding this card is on ebay, should be able to get it for around 50 to 100 dollars. As far as sound goes your going to have trouble finding one with optical in. Check Newegg.com for a good card. Your OS, there are only two ways to go, (through Windows) 2000 Professional, or XP Professional, if you will have 512 MB or more of ram i would go with XP
