Power supply

I have a Gateway 500S about one year old with the following installed when I bought it, 2.0 ghz proc. 40 gb hdd, cd-rw and a 17 in. mon. I now have added the following over a years time: 2 printers, 1 scanner, dvd burner and a 160 gb hdd. My question is do I need a bigger power supply? My Gateway seems to be working alright. I just did not want to have problems on down the road. I looked at my power supply and all I could see was 160 watts min. I am also running Win xp.

Thank you
bear7

the biggest consumer of power in computer accessories are printers (usually need 6 to 10 Amps) but since printer have their our power bar then you don't have to worry about them.
other hardware link HD and CD Rom pull about 1.5 to 3 Amps from the power supply, but 500 WATT power supply usually can supply up to 30 Amps and I don't thing you use even half of that so you seem to be in good shape.

cheers
