problem with my vga driver???

hello to all guys who are good in hardware!!!

I have got an shuttle x pc (a small pc from shuttle.com) the typ is sn45g with the mainboard fn45g

inside i have got an am athlon xp 2400 and an samsung 256ddr ram an 80 gb harddisk from ibm and a liteon dvd burner. and at least i have got my msi geforce 4 ti4200.

after installing all hardware parts correctly i installed winxp(professional). as for now no problems. he can start normally. after that i installed the chipset driver from the mainboard cd (of course the cd from the fn45g). a second time the pc starts normal. no problems. after that i installed the vga driver from the cd of the msi geforce 4 ti4200. after starting the pc stops at the winxp screen and for less than a second there is a blue screen with much text like critical error or something like this (it disapears to fast and too much text. and then there is a reboot atomaticly. he asks me wether i want to start windows with the normal mode or the special mode...

i coose the option "try to start with the functions that have worked at last" (sorry i am from german)

now he starts normally. at the windows destktop in the system screen i can see that the vga driver is missing that i have installed a few minutes ago.
also reinstallation of windows and the vga driver haven`t worked either. please help i do not now what to do now. pherhaps i need a bios update or my graphiccard needs an update???

thanks for helping

Try uninstalling all the drivers that you added.

Reboot to ensure the system is Ok.

Install the graphic card driver.

Reboot to ensure the system is OK.

If it is OK use the system.
