upgrade: 333 to 400 (memory)

hi all, i have an xp3200 processor (400 fsb) but im running it with 1.5gb of 333fsb memory (3x 512mb sticks), tommorow im getting 1gb of 400 fsb ram (1x1gb stick).
my question is, will the 1gb of 400fsb memory give me a better performance or the 1.5gb of 333fsb, sorry, noobish question.. thankyou all

Sorry I don't know the answer, I may have to look it up, but I was wondering if you check to see if your mobo would take more then 2gig of ram ?? Are you going to have them all in there ?

cheers

no, i was gonna just have the 1x 1gb stick (and sell the rest), as long as it performs better than the 1.5gb of 333fsb
