Angry Computer Problems

Please can somebody help me? I have windows 2000 professional with a good motherboard, RAM, plenty of hard space and the rest of it but recently my computer has started turning off whenever i try to play a game. It seems to be the bigger the game, the faster it turns off. I can usually play about 10 mins before it just turns off. This has only started happening recently and i have no idea why. I also have antivirus software which says i have no viruses. help me!!!!

Sounds like an overheat problem.

Check that ALL your system fans are running correctly and quietly.

Funny noises from fans are normally a sign of impending failure.
