Please Help me install this camera!!

I purchased this camera from wal-mart last week an dI can't get it installed on my pc..I have the cd and it told me to instal the storage driver first..and I did then i connected the camera to it and it found new hardware..the wizard was looking for software and I told it to search teh pc and it did but it never found what it was looking for. I told it to search the disk also..still same results. I went to the device manager and there was nothing there relating to the camera..no question marks or anything...I went to the add/remove in control panel an dther ewas something listed for the camera but it had no numbers..kb/mb buy it to say that it took up some space..all the other things listed had numbers to the right of them saying how much space they took up...So I figured it could be the driver on the cd that was corrupt so I went to the samsung web site an downloaded the driver from there and installed it and still no luck..It ssearches forever for the soft was but it ne ver finds it..

Help PLease!

What is your OS?

I have windows xp home edition

I had a look on samsungs site. You don't search for the driver, you unzip, then double click the setup.exe file.
After you reboot, you plug the camera in and windows should detect it. The driver should then be installed automatically.

HI..That's what I did I downloaded the driver from the site then i unzzipped it and went to the exe and clicked it and the wise insall wizard came up an dinstalled it..Then I rebooted and plugged in the camer with it in pc mode..It detected the new hardware..And it searched for the software..but it never found it...I told it to search on its own..then i included for it to search on the cd then i directed it to the unzipped..but when the wise installation installed it ..I don't know where it installed to..It did it so fast..like a millisecond..i could not c for to direct it to where it installed it to...i went o the add/remove hardware..and the driver was listed..but there were no kb or anything by it..but it may be noremal to have nothing stating how much space it took up..so to me that is indicating that there is nothing there!

PLease Help me someone..where does the wise installation install to?

Well, it sounds like you need to contact Samsung support as the installer is duff, or not fully compatable.
The installation files would normally be copied to system32, twain_32 and entries made in windows, inf.
