Microsoft Natural multimedia Keyboard

I have a problem with my new keyboard. before i have been using a normal Microsoft Natural board (usb) and this was without problems. now i have a new board the multimedia version, and this only has a ps/2 connector. no problem i thought, ps/2 always works. but since i am running windows xp appearantly i cannot use my ps/2 ports anymore. when i start my computer the keyboard lights blink and everything. however as soon as my windows starts up, somewhere in the startup my keyboard dies. I don't know why. can anybody help me out here??

Who has told you that you can't run 2 PS2 device on Windows XP...That is load of $$$.... check you BIOS to see if there any kind of setting for PS2 to be enabled / disabled... I don't think it is the OS,, it got to be the keyboard,,, just because it is new does not mean it if perfect.
