LPT to COM

Hi,

A program I am using requires me to attach a device to COM ports 1 to 4 but the only parallel ports that I have is labelled LPT1, I can attach my device to this printer port but I can't access it. I would like to know If I can change this ports name/label to COM1 to COM4.

Any help would be grateful.

What Program?

What Device?

What Operating System?

What Motherboard do you have?

What device[s] are physically using your Comm Port[s]?
