I am wondering why you have a GeForce 2 video card when the Nforce chipset has an integrated GeForce 2 anyway. The onboard video should be disabled in that case.

the reason is that when i first built up my machine i had the k7s5a motherboard then after a couple of months i decide to buy the asus board so i thought to myself why have an onboard 32mb
vga when i can have 64mb vga card and enjoy all my games better and faster. so then i installed my graphics card [geforce 2] into the agp slot and away i went and i never looked back.

Did you disable the onboard video though?

Not all have the IGC. I know that the nForce2 comes in like 4 models. Two have integrated graphics, two don't.
