irq issues

I have recently been battleing a Ge-Force video card and i have figured out the reason for all my troubles is its sharing the same irq as other devices on my system, I would like to maually set the irq's but windows has it shaded out and im not sure how to enable the feature I have tried booting into safe mode and logging in as admin to no avail I am running windows xp corp. any help on this subject would be appreciated.

Is it an AGP- or PCI-Card? Some motherboards share AGP with a certain PCI-Port. Maybe you have to change the slot for another PCI card. Look in your motherboard manual.
