Unhappy major crashing

i seem to crash alot in doom 3 and CS:S
first off... specs
P4 2.8 northwood 800fsb
asus p4s800
512mb pc3200
ATI 9800 pro
300 maybe 350Watt PSU (witch is what im thinking is causing my problems)

when i play them games.. it seems i can sometimes get in 20 mins.. or less.. sometimes only 2 mins.. but the game will lock up with skipping sound. sometimes the screen will just go black out of no ware and the game is still running, can still hear everything.. but more often its the locking up.. =\ any thoughts of what could be making it do that? as you can tell my comp is not built to OC.. so i dont ever..
