Logitech Cordless MX Duo keyboard problem

I have had the Logitech Cordless MX Duo for a little more

then a year now(purchased August 03) and the Keyboard

used to perform fine and keep it’s battery charge for months

until about a month ago when it startedto drain any pair

of batteries I would put in it; I would put a new pair in

and 2-3 days later they would be totally dead (I tried

numerous types of alkaline batteries). Has anyone had

any problems with this keyboard because I’m really out of

ideas, the only think I can think of is SP2 might play some

kind of role in the batteries draining.

- I have the newest versions of mouseware and itouch installed
- I have xp pro w/ SP2
- Keyboard has been in the same place for the last year ( so I know it’s not too far from the receiver)

Yeah, I just contacted Logitech today and they said they would send me a replacement within 7 days, good thing for the long warranties on their products.
