failure to bootup

Hi,
My clevo2700c, showed the following message:
KEYBOARD FAILURE - RUN SCU
CMOS FAILURE - RUN SCU
CMOS CHECKSUM INVALID - RUN SCU
KEYBOARD CONTROLER FAILURE
WARNING - NO INTURRUPTS FROM TIMER 0
-
and stopped.
pressing f1 did not help nor was I able to get to the bios setup by pressingcont-alt-s. I turned the machine off and turned it on with the hope of finding the cont-alt-s prompt, alas, I could not even get a display. I think it somehow goes into suspend mode. I am sure the lcd is fine. When I take out the cmos battery and later replace it, I can see the message shown above. I wonder what I should do next.
Please help
Thanks.

laptop?

considering is a clevo, im thinking its a laptop or similar computer?

it sounds like you have some form of keyboard failure..so the cmos battery prolly wont help.. i would try making sure the connections from the keyboard to the motherboard are secure..this might be hard on a laptop though..

if the connections are secure, replacement of the keyboard may be the only option..?

maybe someone more experienced with laptops will recognise your problem better then me, an know of a better fix?
