new 80gig hard drive problems

Just installed a new 80 gig hard drive, which I used an IBM disk manager to install. It copied the files from my old hard drive to this new one. But in the process of doing so it converted the new drive to NFTS, and now my windows xp is saying there is a hardware configuration problem, and will not allow me to start xp.

How can I fix this?

Do a repair using XP CD. It should provide a cure.
