My video card is freezing whenever I go to play any games such as Medal of Honor and Madden. As soon as I go to start to play a game (after I get in and select what I want) the gmae freezes. It's like the sound and the game goes on pauses with the sound and everything freezing. I have an ATI 8500le 128ddr. I am lost for what the problem could be. I have a 1.2gig pro and 192ram

try turning down the hardware acceleration ,

it can b found in display prop - Settings - Advanced - and Trobleshoot and u will c a slider wer u can adjust acceleration

Besides doing what Prankster prosted, have you updated your drivers, downloaded all patches for the games? Clear any programs running in your background as well (frees up resources).
